I agree whole heartedly with the firefighters decisions. They did what they had to do to get the job done. The car was parked illegally in front of the hydrant. Next time, maybe they will think twice before they park where they’re not suppose to.
Considering everyone knows its against the law to obstruct a hydrant. Consider the design also the feed line has to run straight into hydrant. Hell i think the car owner was i’d have requested the police and had the car towed. Just a pity we would get so much grief as fire fighters here in Scotland. But ignorance breeds contempt and hopefully this hard line lesson will make people stop and think
Um, doesn’t law say to NOT park beside a fire hydrant?! So, duh! YES! I agree! smh. People are so not the brightest bulbs in the packs these days!
Agree. It is illegal to park in front a hydrant for a reason. Did this jackass not care that lives could have lost because of his arrogance?
