Where I live in TN, starting wage is $19 for new grad in the level 1 emergency room! What a joke comparatively!
I was making that in TX as new grad LPN. That is just crazy
Location and state size also need to be considered. In VA if you live near DC area you make more if you live in less populated egions like South west corner the salary is considerably less. Also must consider this is average. New grads will make less and experienced and specialty will make more. Misleading for people looking to start in the nursing field. It may take years to reach this salary average.
I surprised $33/hr for RN in TX. I make that as a med tech.
Where is that at? That’s good wage for a Med tech
